This poster introduces the main characters by having them sit on a sofa along the bottom of the poster. I think the audience is engaged by the characters as they are looking directly at the audience, I also think that it hints at what could happen in the movie as there appears to be tension between the 3 people.
In the centre of the poster is the title of the movie which is in a font which resembles a type writer. The fact that title is the central image make sit very eye catching and is something that i would like to try and include in my poster. I think this is very fitting as the movie is set in the 1970's so i think it matches that time era. The background wallpaper also matches the time era as well as the clothing the characters are in.
Across the bottom of the poster it features the Sundance Festival logo which I think is something that is attention grabbing and may make an audience want to see the movie more.
